Individual therapy sessions last 50 minutes and take place at least once a week. I believe that the more often you come, the more effective and helpful our work together can be. We would decide together what frequency feels right for you.
People come into therapy for a lot of different reasons and need different kinds of help. Some people are in immediate crisis and need support coping through a difficult specific situation. Others are experiencing reoccurring patterns in their lives (struggles in relationships, low self-esteem, lack of motivation, etc...) that they want help understanding and changing. In addition, some people come into treatment to find deeper meaning, more creativity, and a richer sense of fulfillment in their lives. I will work with you to find out what it is that you're looking for and decide on the appropriate treatment.
